About me
I am an experienced, qualified counsellor and supervisor with over 10 years of experience working with adults and young people, both face-to-face and online.
I am an accredited member of the NCPS and on the Children’s and Young People’s register. I am fully insured and registered with the ICO.
I currently work as clinical lead for a counselling charity and have level 3 training in safeguarding. I have attended pre-trial therapy training in line with the CPS guidance 2022.
I am a guest lecturer at the University of Lincoln delivering seminars in subjects such as Supervision and Theories in Counselling and Psychotherapy - an Integrative approach to working with Children and Young people to students on the Masters course.
As a counsellor, I am passionate about providing a safe, confidential space where we can explore any personal and professional issues having a negative impact on your life.
As a supervisor, I have experience working with both qualified and trainee counsellors. I would tailor supervision to meet your needs, apportioning time to your clinical work, areas for personal development, and self-care. I also work with other professionals in the caring professions such as Teachers and Headteachers, Welfare Officers and Pastoral Care professionals.
As an NVR practitioner, I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate space where we can work together to empower you, as parents, to make changes that will benefit your whole family. As a parent myself, I understand parenting can be challenging but it can also be rewarding. We will be working on techniques to help increase your parental presence and minimise conflict.
